Kathy has used and tested over 12 liquid metal products on the market, including water, polyester, acrylic, solvent and epoxy based binders. All can achieve the same end result “look”, but some are definitely easier to use, are more environmentally friendly and stronger. There is also a difference in metal quality, customer service and the overall integrity of a company.
Kathy has spent an enormous amount of time testing product materials, tools and top coats to achieve the most desired look. We use a variety of different liquid metal brands in class. If you are interested in any one specific brand, let us know.

Kathy started with a business and marketing degree, working in corporate America until starting in the decorative finishing industry in 2008. Kathy created and runs a not for profit annual industry event for decorative painters ArtFusion and through her marketing, strategy, training and consulting business, Kathy helps others start and promote their business.
